The Great Bear Pub and Liquor Store is where friends gather to celebrate. Thank you to the hundreds of you that attended our 2nd annual Show and Shine on Saturday, June 27. Congrats to our grand champion Ken Green who won with his 1946 Morris. We look forward to seeing you all next year.
The Great Bear offers fresh west coast food, entertainment seven nights a week and daily drink features. Check out our popular $9.95 Sunday brunch from 11 am - 2pm.
Our patio is re-designed for the summer and ready for hot nights. We always give birthday parties special preference.
Sunday and Monday are Open Mic nights and Tuesday is our Music Bingo contest with Whistler Ziptrek tickets as a grand prize. Thursday night's heat up with Karaoke. We offer live music on Friday's and DJ's on Saturday's.
Our kitchen is open until 11 pm daily and we have fundraising programs for sports teams and community groups. Teams and community groups raise up to $7,000 in one evening.
The Great Bear Pub is aiming to be the greenest pub in B.C. Please see our "about us" page for our twelve sustainability inititatives. Our biodegradable straws have turned some heads.
